Database Engineer

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of the Data Platform Team, you'll build and maintain the core database technologies that drive our innovative investment strategies. Your role will involve:

• Designing resilient, secure, and high-performance systems.
• Creating a highly automated, self-service platform for cross-firm innovation.
• Collaborating with teams to influence critical systems and deliver impactful data solutions.

Who We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in the financial sector, particularly in equity, credit, or derivatives trading.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) and enterprise database technologies.
• Development skills in SQL, PowerShell, and Python for automation and problem-solving.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting for deployments.
• Database performance tuning and optimization expertise.
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
