What You'll Be Doing
As the Associate General Counsel for our Credit & Insurance business, you will play a crucial role in supporting fundraising and fund establishment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing US registered and unregistered investment companies, including BDCs.
- Managing fund formation and registration, regulatory filings, and product development.
- Providing board support, governance, and marketing review.
- Handling fund agreements and engaging in special projects.
- Supporting private credit funds and addressing general corporate matters.
Who We're Looking For
- 8+ years of legal experience in the investment management sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and US federal securities laws.
- Experience with BDCs and regulated investment companies, particularly liquid alternatives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across teams in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable interfacing with C-level executives.
