Operational Leadership
Oversee daily operations of futures and derivatives processing, including trade capture, reconciliation, clearing, and settlement.
Manage relationships with FCMs (Futures Commission Merchants), exchanges, clearinghouses, and third-party vendors.
Implement and monitor robust control frameworks to ensure trade integrity, accuracy, and timely resolution of breaks.
Lead margin management, collateral movements, and funding processes in coordination with Treasury.
Strategic and Process Improvement
Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for futures operations, aligned with company growth and automation objectives.
Identify and implement process improvements and technology solutions to enhance efficiency, scalability, and client experience.
Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate new exchange connections, clearing workflows, and operational reporting tools.
Risk and Compliance
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements from CFTC, NFA, CME, and other global regulators.
Oversee implementation of operational risk controls and participate in internal/external audits.
Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to address reporting, surveillance, and recordkeeping obligations.
Leadership and Team Development
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing futures operations team.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Represent the operations function in executive forums and client discussions.
